Radek Ślany

Born In Wrocław , Poland in 1973. He completed his studies at the Graphic Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (1995),

and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (1997-1998). Studied workshop printing under Prof. S. Wejman (Kraków) and under

Profs. Pawlikowska and Szewczyk (Wrocław). Diploma in artistic printmaking and drawing (Wrocław, 2000).Deals with printmaking and

drawing. In the artistic graphics, he uses both the relief and intaglio printing techniques.He exhibited his works on collective and  individual,

exhibitions, both in Poland and abroad.

 

Opisy technik.

In the artistic graphics, he uses both the relief and intaglio painting techniques.

Plaster print is a relief printing technique where the image is processed trough cutting out the surroundings
of the image being created. In this way the image makes a protruding surface on which, using a roller, a layer
of paint is applied. The impression is made on paper, taking into account the brittleness of the die, the printing
follows manually, without using a printing press.
